Deerwood Crossing Senior Housing Executive

Full-time

The Senior Housing Executive assumes ultimate responsibility and accountability for the Deerwood Crossing 66 unit senior housing facility. Manage daily operations within parameters of established policies and procedures in keeping with the philosophy and mission of the organization. Manage and direct the work activity of all employees and contracted staff. Create and maintain a high level of resident and employee satisfaction.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in management and supervision including budgetary responsibility
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Services or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in working with older adults
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

 

Care Manager

Part-time

Jewish Family Services (JFS) is offering an opportunity for a Care Manager to work in their Older Adult Services Division. This part-time position will be responsible for providing comprehensive social services that support and enhance independent living for frail older adults in their LinkAges program.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field. Prior experience in working with older adults is preferred. Additionally, qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Internet, and be able to collaborate and work effectively with clients, agency personnel, volunteers and other public and/or private social service organizations. The ability to pass a criminal background check, a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance is also required.

 

 

Homemaker

Part-time

Jewish Family Services is seeking a part time (10-15 hours/week) home care worker to assist frail, older adults with homemaking tasks. Experience in working with older adults in a homecare setting is preferred.

Qualified candidates must be caring and compassionate towards older adults, be able to perform domestic duties and pass a criminal background check. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance is also required.
