Jewish Family Services Announces Visiting the Sick Training Program

Jewish Family Services’ (JFS) Pathways to Healing program presents a four-session training series that will provide individuals with the necessary skills needed to make meaningful visits to the ill and suffering who are in a nursing home, hospital, or are homebound elderly adults.  The event will be held from 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4th, 11th and 25th and Wednesday February 20th at Sarah Chudnow Campus, 10995 N. Market St. in Mequon, and is sponsored by JFS’ Pathways to Healing program, the Jewish Chaplaincy Program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the Milwaukee Jewish Home and Care Center.

Pathways to Healing is a program of Jewish Family Services which supports individuals through times of illness or crisis and encourages wellness by addressing issues of mind, body, and spirit.  To register for this series or for more information about Pathways to Healing, please contact Michael Luber at 414-390-5800.
