Jewish Family Services Announces Visiting the Sick Training ProgramApril 9, 2008
Jewish Family Services' Pathways to Healing program presents a four-session training series that will provide individuals with the necessary skills needed to make meaningful visits to the ill and suffering who are in a nursing home, hospital, or are homebound elderly adults. The event will be held from 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5th, Wednesday, May 14th and 28th, and Monday May 19th at Sarah Chudnow Campus, 10995 N. Market St. in Mequon. The event is sponsored by JFS’ Pathways to Healing program, the Jewish Chaplaincy Program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the Milwaukee Jewish Home and Care Center. Pathways to Healing is a program of Jewish Family Services which supports indiviudals through times of illness or crisis and encourages wellness by addressing issues of mind, body and spirit.
