Jewish Family Services (JFS) is pleased to announce their upcoming Healing Gathering on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at Golda Meir House, 1567 N. Prospect Ave. in Milwaukee. Meditation, psalms and prayers will be led in Russian by Tamar Heifetz, case manager in JFS’ Older Adults Services division, and songs will be led by Rubin Kinkulkin, JFS volunteer. The event is free and open to the community.

This Healing Gathering is sponsored by Pathways to Healing, a program of Jewish Family Services, which supports individuals through times of illness or crisis and encourages wellness by addressing issues of mind, body, and spirit.

Since 1867, Jewish Family Services has provided comprehensive social services to the Milwaukee area Jewish and general community.  Its mission is to provide supportive services that strengthen families, children and individuals throughout the life cycle within the context of their unique needs and traditions.
