Jewish Family Services' Pathways to Healing Program Presents A Healing Gathering

Jewish Family Services, Inc. is pleased to announce their upcoming Healing Gathering with meditation, songs, psalms and prayers led by Cantor Marsha Fensin.  The event will be held on Tuesday, December 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the Laurel Oaks Retirement Community, 1700 W. Bender Rd. in Glendale and is free and open to the entire community.

The event is co-sponsored by the Laurel Oaks Retirement Community and Pathways to Healing, a program of Jewish Family Services, which supports individuals through times of illness or crisis and encourages wellness of mind, body and spirit.  Event coordinator Therese Dorfman explains that “the coming together of individuals in a positive environment provides an invaluable support network.

For 140 years, Jewish Family Services has provided comprehensive social services to the Milwaukee area Jewish and general community.  Its mission is to provide supportive services that strengthen families, children and individuals throughout the life cycle within the context of their unique needs and traditions.
