Exceptional Needs

Keshet

Supporting individuals with diverse abilities, through educational, cultural, and social services within the Wisconsin Jewish community.

Keshet's philosophy is very simple. We provide each child with high quality services within the Jewish educational, social, and cultural community. Through supporting and collaborating with other community organizations, Keshet strives to enhance the quality of life for each child and their families.

There is no one "face" of Keshet. Each child is unique. Keshet recognizes the potential within each child, and within each family.

By working together with family and community, Keshet provides outstanding service to individuals with diverse abilities within the Wisconsin Jewish community.

Keshet Programs include:

  • Supportive educational services in Milwaukee Jewish Day Schools; nursery school programming
  • Counseling resources of Jewish Family Services
  • Sunday school programming for Synagogue schools; B'nai Mitzvah tutoring
  • Parent, teacher, and community education and support
  • Community advocacy for educational programming; a newsletter for education and advocacy
  • Social and vocational skill development
