Jewish Family Services Anger Management Group Program

• Eight-week group program for adults
• Eight-week group program for adolescents (13-17)
• Each group will last 90 minutes

Program Cost

$200 or $25 per group. At this time, we will not be billing insurance for the group. Cash, check or credit card payments will be accepted. If the client pays for the entire program in full prior to the beginning of the first group, the program fee will be reduced by $25.

All participants must be assessed prior to acceptance into the program. The assessment appointment may be billed through the client’s insurance. If the client does not have insurance the cost for the assessment is $25. Eligible clients will be referred to the next available group program.

Program Conditions

• Clients must attend a minimum of 7 groups in order to receive a certificate of completion.
• Clients are expected to be on time for the group. Tardiness in excess of 15 minutes will constitute an absence.
• There will be no excused absences. If the client misses 2 groups, they will be discharged.
• Clients failing to complete the program will be given one more opportunity. If they fail to complete a second time, the group will no longer be an option for them. Individual sessions may be considered, but permission must be granted by the Vice President of Clinical and Case Management Services.
• All fees must be paid in full before a certificate of completion is granted.

Groups will range in size from 5 to 12 participants.

As demand for the program increases, additional groups will be started. It is anticipated that the longest a client will have to wait to begin a group will be 30 days.
