PARENT COMMUNICATION COACHING

This court-referred program is designed for couples who have often exhausted other options.  The program, consisting of a minimum of six private coaching sessions, teaches skills enabling participants to look beyond personal differences and prioritize the needs of their children.

Sessions are structured to create a working atmosphere between co-parents, identify conflicts related to children, introduce and practice constructive communication skills, resolve specific issues and strategize ways to prevent future problems.

The objective is to teach communication skills, conflict resolution and problem solving skills during six one-hour coaching sessions.  The first four sessions will take place within six weeks.  Additional sessions will be spaced to allow time to practice communication skills, address any difficulties, and reinforce successes.
