Pathways to Healing

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Healing Center located?

Pathways to Healing is not a physical place. Rather, it is an umbrella of services and programs that add the spiritual component to physical and mental health issues. The "Healing Center" is a joint effort of Jewish Family Services and the Jewish Outreach Institute, and is funded by the Helen Bader Foundation, Inc.

What kinds of services and programs do you offer?

A variety of services are offered including Bikkur Cholim (visiting the sick) training, book lending, healing services, support groups, counseling.

Do you hold regular meetings and programs, and if so, where?

We are in the process of developing a full calendar of events. Check back to this website often and click on "calendar" to see the latest schedule.

Do I need to be Jewish to participate?

No. Pathways to Healing is open to the unaffiliated, interfaith families, and the community at large. If an offering has specifically Jewish content it will be made known.

How much does it cost to attend?

Fees are program specific. Many programs are free of charge. Reservations may be required.

What if you do not have a group that meets my specific need?

Please call us anyway. We want to be responsive to the needs of our community. We have extensive information on community resources that may assist to you.
