Pathways to HealingPrograms and ServicesHealing ServicesHealing services are a very specialized component of our overall programming. Basically, a healing service combines Jewish prayer, music, meditation and a variety of sharing opportunities to comfort individuals in times of grief, illness or spiritual enlightenment. We help local synagogues to organize these healing services to be offered at least once a month at different locations in the city. See our calendar.... Bikkur Cholim - (Visiting the sick)We offer training and help to synagogues and other groups interested in coordinating volunteers to make personal visits to the homebound. These home visits provide the opportunity for individuals to socialize, pray, explore spirituality or just to be heard. This is a great and unique experience for both volunteers and the recipients of this service. If you're interested in being part of this program, contact us at 390-5800. Counseling and Support GroupsJewish Family Services and Pathways to Healing offer opportunities for individual counseling, family counseling and support groups. We have counselors on staff who specialize in areas of illness/disability, divorce, grief/loss, and anger management. Please check our calendar for our support group schedule. Seminars and ClassesJewish Family Services and Pathways to Healing offer a variety of classes related to health, wellness, and healing. Check our calendar to see what's new. We feel it is important to be responsive to the needs of our community. Therefore, please contact us for any needs you may have and we will do our best to help you.
