Older Adult Services

Adults over 60 and their families often face lifestyle changes and decisions that can be overwhelming. Jewish Family Services encourages independence and personal fulfillment for older persons and helps them establish a secure and stable environment.

Family Care

Provides in-home services, such as personal and supportive home care, transportation and home delivered meals so that seniors can continue to live in their own homes at a fraction of the cost of a nursing home.

LinkAges/Older Adult Case Management Program

Our LinkAges program helps families meet the needs of their aging family members including the Kosher the meal program, late life counseling and subsidized home care program at area apartment complexes.

Homecare Program

JFS' Homecare program provides supportive homemaking services to clients who need help around their home, need companionship, or require short-term daytime respite for caregivers.

Social Services to Russian Speaking Population

Range of services provided to the community from the Former Soviet Union.

Kosher Mobile Meal Program

Meals are cooked under dietary supervision at the Jewish Home and Care Center and delivered to home-based clients by the Visiting Nurse Assocation. 

Milwaukee Area Refugee Consortium

A collaborative approach with Catholic Charities, International Institute of Wisconsin, Lutheran Social Services and Maximus W-2 to serve refugees who migrate to Milwaukee.

Limited English Speaking Population

JFS is part of the coalition seeking ways to sustain bilingual services for LEP Older Adults who do not have refugee status.
