Milwaukee Area Refugee Consortium

JFS coordinates this consortium under contract with the State of Wisconsin Bureau of Migrant Refugee and Labor Services (BMRLS) and is responsible for compiling reports and managing funds for the six Milwaukee Area Refugee Consortium (MARC) agencies that provide refugee programs. JFS also coordinates administrative meetings for MARC and the African and Asian Refugee Consortium (AARC). Older Refugee funding under this contract supports Russian-speakers who are not yet citizens and who continue to need assistance. JFS staff and board serve on the State of Wisconsin Refugee Advisory Council.
