Addy is an Advanced Practice Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. She is a highly skilled, compassionate clinician working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in one-on-one, group, school based, and outpatient mental health settings. Addy is currently working with individuals who are dealing with transitions such as divorce, adoption, foster care, family blending, and the unpredictability of Covid-19 when it comes to virtual or in person learning for youth. Addy believes therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and strives to provide person-centered and culturally-sensitive interventions for children and families who desire to improve their relationships and emotional wellness. Addy feels passionate about offering clients the opportunity to feel seen, understood, and valued, and always works to meet her clients where they’re at in their journey. Addy believes that all of her clients already possess the capacities necessary for growth, they just might need a little help to recognize and learn how to draw upon their personal strengths. Addy uses a mixture of psychoeducation, creative play, person-centered theories, Brainspotting and solution-focused techniques.
