Dr. Beverly Felten, “Dr. Bev,” is originally from Green Bay Wisconsin. Her kindergarten teacher taught the class the Packer Fight Song. Her high school played their home football games at Lambeau Field. She earned her Master’s in Community Health Nursing Gerontology and PhD in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She is the 4th Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
Dr. Bev specializes in treating adult clients with multiple physical and mental diagnoses. She believes physical changes in health influence mental health and vice versa. Dr. Bev has many years of experience treating issues of depression, mood disorder, anxiety, addiction, and psychosis. She works closely in understanding what medications the client is receiving in order to minimize side effects.

Collaboration with the client and the team providing care is very important, including family, case managers, psychotherapists, and primary care providers. Dr. Bev emphasizes that cultural background, physical exercise, healthy lifestyle choices, and social engagement are critical elements to enhance quality of life for her clients.
