Rachel Wagner is a member of the JFS clinical team, providing counseling services for individual children, adolescents, adults and groups. Rachel uses a client centered and strength-based approach to treatment working with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Rachel meets the client where they are at and aims to meet their therapeutic needs whether that be processing and healing from past challenges or traumas or working towards positive change. Rachel works with clients to reduce emotional pain and work towards joy and fulfillment.
Rachel has facilitated the Kids in the Middle® groups as well as grief groups. Prior to JFS, Rachel was a counseling intern at Aurora Family Service where she worked with couples, families and individuals, as well as in a school setting with elementary age children. Rachel worked as a clinician at the Autism Behavioral Network implementing programs of applied behavioral analysis with children diagnosed with Autism.
