A special event for Past Presidents/Board Members, Friends and Supporters

We invite you to join us on Thursday, November 4th at 5:00pm to learn more about Jewish Family Services and the advocacy support we provide for our community as a whole.

Hear from members of the Jewish Family Services leadership team and staff who will present updates on the programs we provide and the services and support we offer under the Victims of Crime Act. Then, we welcome community leader and advocate Carrie Scott-Haney to share her personal experiences with domestic violence and why she is an advocate for the Purple Alert system.

Domestic violence is an alarming and pervasive problem in our country. The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) data reports that on average, 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in the US. Over the course of a year, that equals more than 12 million women and men.

There will be a live question and answer session at the end of the program with our presenters.
