JFS and JFS Housing provides services to individuals regardless of their religious, cultural, gender identity, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
The cost of our services are generally covered by specific funding sources, contract agreements, Medicare, Medicaid and private health care insurers. We also offer private pay rates and income based sliding scale payment arrangements.
We offer Grief Counseling at local synagogues, Jewish Community Case Management, VOCA services and services for victims of hate crimes, Social Services for Russian Speaking (SSRS) individuals and Holocaust Survivors.
Our Late Life Counseling program provides seniors age 60 and older with convenient access to mental health counseling services in their own home and we offer Assisted Living Services for seniors at Deerwood Crossing Senior Residences.
We offer limited case management services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and a weekly support group for persons with chronic mental health conditions. Corporate Guardianship, Conservatorship, Representative Payee services are available based on a set hourly fee.
Our Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) programs supports adults with mental health disorders or substance use disorders, or both, who have Medicaid/T19 coverage and reside in in Milwaukee County.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 safety precautions we have very limited in person contacts with our clients and would not be able to distribute them for the foreseeable future.
