Domestic Violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another. It includes physical violence, sexual violence, threats, and emotional abuse.

The impact of domestic violence is devastating to individuals who have experienced it, the families and friends who have lost a loved one as a result and to our society as a whole.

Jewish Family Services provides mental health and counseling services to survivors of domestic violence including sexual assault and human trafficking and over the past year, we have seen a three-fold increase in services to domestic violence survivors.

We invite you to attend this event to learn more about the warning signs for domestic violence and our trauma-informed approach to healing for those impacted by violence.
