Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am thrilled to share an important leadership milestone at Jewish Family Services. After an exhaustive national search conducted by Leading Transitions, our Board of Directors is proud to announce that Dan Fleischman has been named President & Chief Executive Officer.

Dan brings more than a decade of dedicated service to JFS, having previously served as Vice President of Housing and, since July 2025, as Interim President & CEO. Throughout his tenure, Dan has led with clarity, compassion, and a deep commitment to the individuals and families we serve. His leadership reflects both vision and practical expertise, and he has already made a meaningful impact during his time as Interim CEO.

Under Dan’s leadership, JFS has expanded programs that integrate housing, supportive services, and community engagement to help individuals and families not only find a place to live, but a place to thrive. He has long emphasized that housing is not just shelter, but a foundation for stability, dignity, and opportunity.

As Board Chair, I can say with confidence that Dan has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to our mission. The Board is confident that his vision and deep understanding of our community will guide Jewish Family Services into a strong and impactful future in our core areas of mental health services, social services, and affordable housing.

Please join me in congratulating Dan as he settles into his new role. We look forward to the next chapter of JFS under his leadership, continuing our commitment to serving our community with compassion and excellence.

With gratitude,
Jason Steigman
