Michael Luber Tribute Endowment
A Fund of the Jewish Community Foundation

Michael began his remarkable career as a clinical psychologist at JFS in 2004. Until JFS gave him the opportunity, he struggled to find a program that would accept him and provide the required supervision to fulfill his doctorate requisites. As a result, Michael had a particular interest in mentoring interns who were similarly overlooked and challenged in the pursuit of their degree.

During his tenure at JFS, he focused his efforts on client support and professional training, including the supervision of dozens of mental health professionals and PhD candidates at local universities.

The Michael Luber Tribute Endowment at the Jewish Community Foundation supports education and training of future mental health workers and barrier-free access to services for those who would be unable to receive care due to a lack of insurance or inability to pay.
